Reporting his receipt of the Stetson hats, thanking him for his assistance in purchasing them, and asking for a sum of the costs so that Hearn can reimburse him speedily. Noting that he will wait to hear from Gullman before writing a letter of thanks to the Stetson Co. Mentioning his trip to the Kugenuma seaside, and hoping that Gullman is well.
